Noida: Massive Fire Breaks Out at Sector 32 Dumping Ground

Noida: A massive fire broke out at the Noida Authority’s dumping ground in Sector 32. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. No casualties have been reported so far. Strong winds fueled the flames, making them spread rapidly across the landfill. Thick smoke engulfed the surroundings, affecting visibility. In a separate incident, a massive fire broke out near Sector 128 in Noida , causing panic among residents as thick plumes of smoke filled the sky. The blaze began at a garbage dump near the Greater Noida Expressway and quickly spread to nearby forested areas. Emergency services, including fire brigades and police, were immediately dispatched to the site. Videos shared on social media captured the intensity of the blaze, with flames visible from a distance and smoke lowering visibility on roads. Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar confirmed that the fire was successfully brought under control with the efforts of fire-fighting teams. Read more
