According to officials, the fire started suddenly in the e-rickshaw parking zone located near the main entrance of Chhatbir Zoo.

At least 18 e-rickshaws were gutted as a major fire broke out at Chhatbir Zoo in Punjab’s Mohali Tuesday morning. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident, and officials confirmed that none of the areas holding animals were affected.

The incident reportedly occurred around 8 am, sending thick clouds of smoke into the sky as early visitors started to arrive. According to officials, the fire started suddenly in the e-rickshaw parking zone located near the main entrance. Within minutes, the blaze spread rapidly, engulfing all parked vehicles.
