6-year-old girl dies, mother hospitalised as fire breaks out in Ghaziabad flat

A six-year-old girl, Saina Parveen, died, and her mother, Sabbi Parveen, was hospitalized after a fire broke out in their locked Ghaziabad flat. Fire officials suspect the blaze originated from a refrigerator. The mother is receiving treatment at GTB Hospital.

A six-year-old girl died and her mother was hospitalised after a fire broke out inside their locked flat in the Tulsi Niketan area of Ghaziabad early on Saturday.

Officials identified the deceased child as Saina Parveen, daughter of Mohammad Zakir. Saina’s mother, Sabbi Parveen alias Pinky, 30, is undergoing treatment at Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital in Delhi.
