About 50 firefighters have battled a large blaze at a three-storey apartment complex in East Dallas, officials say. Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) said emergency crews were called to the building at 4502 Gaston Avenue on Saturday after receiving a 911 report of a fire. Flames were seen coming from a third-floor balcony, and by the time firefighters arrived, the blaze had spread to the roof, according to DFR. Due to the rapid spread, additional units were dispatched, bringing the total number of firefighters at the scene to between 45 and 50. Authorities confirmed that no injuries have been reported.
