The situation was so bad that rescuers could not even determine the exact location of the lift well on the third floor

Firefighters in Ahmedabad searched for, identified and broke through a wall and cut through a metal sheet on Floor 3¾ of a building to rescue 10 women stuck in an elevator inside a completely hidden lift well, enclosed on all four sides.

The incident reminded people of the fictional Harry Potter universe where students had to pass through the magical wall on Platform 9¾ at King’s Cross Station in London to enter the magical world of Hogwarts.
