A large police contingent, including Rapid Action Force (RAF) and Combat Force, reached the spot
A major fire broke out at a warehouse and factory complex spanning over 30 bighas in Barasat’s Bamunmora Kadambagachi area around 7 pm on Saturday. Over 20 fire engines reached the spot and began efforts to douse the flames.
According to local residents, around 80 families have been evacuated from the spot. The warehouse complex stored paints, air-conditioners etc.
