New Delhi: A fire broke out at the Mother and Child Block of Delhi-AIIMS on Thursday. The incident was swiftly brought under control, and no casualties were reported. Firefighters and hospital staff acted promptly to prevent the blaze from spreading to other areas of the facility. Reportedly, the DFS officer said a call regarding the fire was received at 5.15 pm. In a separate news, a transformer located near the Trauma Centre of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, caught fire, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon. Several fire tenders were dispatched to douse the flames. No injuries have been reported in the incident. Read more
