Recently, a fire erupted at a showroom in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including a woman. Jhansi has seen several similar fire incidents over the past year. The city’s narrow streets often delay the fire department’s response, leading to increased casualties. To address this issue, students from Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology (BIET) in Jhansi have developed drones designed to reach fire sites quickly and help control the blaze. While these drones may not replace fire extinguishers or water trucks, they can effectively manage fires until the fire department arrives.
