Yolo County officials confirmed Friday that the Coroner’s Division has gained access to the fire site and is in contact with the families of those reported missing.
Authorities have located human remains following a massive explosion earlier this week at a fireworks warehouse near Esparto, a small farming community in Northern California. The blast, which occurred on Tuesday, left seven people unaccounted for and ignited a large fire that sparked additional spot fires in the area.
