No casualties reported so far, blaze brought under control after nearly an hour of firefighting
A major fire broke out late Sunday night at Aura Garden Banquet Hall, located on the Zirakpur–Shimla Road near the Panchkula border, triggering panic during an ongoing wedding ceremony.
According to eyewitnesses, the blaze erupted suddenly inside the banquet hall while the wedding rituals were underway. Within minutes, thick smoke engulfed the entire venue, forcing guests to rush for safety. Fortunately, most attendees managed to escape in time, and no casualties have been reported so far.
