A huge fire broke out at Putra Heights, Malaysia, after a gas pipeline explosion. Dramatic videos and images of the blaze show a towering inferno. According to BNO News, the number of injuries resulting from the gas pipeline explosion has risen to 25. Initial reports had suggested that the fire occurred at a petrol station. Selangor Fire and Rescue Department Director Wan Mohamad Razali Wan Ismail, quoted by The Star newspaper, stated that crews on the ground had identified a ruptured gas pipeline as the source of the blaze. Dozens of firefighters from Selangor were deployed to the scene. Several homes were engulfed in flames, with residents reportedly trapped inside, after the blast triggered the massive fire. Many residents were also evacuated after the explosion.
