Massive fire breaks out at chemical factory in Noida; no injuries | Delhi News – The Indian Express

Pradeep Kumar, Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Gautam Budh Nagar, said they called in reinforcements from Ghaziabad, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Meerut, and private sector units.

A massive fire broke out early Friday at a chemical manufacturing unit in Noida’s Sector 2, prompting a multi-agency response. Officials confirmed that the blaze, which started at around 5.30 am at Sham Paints Industries located in Sector 2, was brought under control with no injuries or casualties reported.

Pradeep Kumar, Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Gautam Budh Nagar, said the initial alert about the fire was received from the area’s police at 5.30 am. “We were informed that a fire had broken out at Sham Paints. Two fire tenders were immediately dispatched from the nearest station, which is barely 500 metres away,” he said.
