One killed, 10 rescued as fire breaks out at hospital in East Delhi | Delhi News – The Indian Express

Of those rescued, seven have been admitted to a nearby hospital while three others escaped with minor injuries. 

One person was killed while 10 others — including eight patients — were rescued after a fire broke out at Kosmos Hospital in East Delhi’s Anand Vihar on Saturday afternoon.

Fire officials said the blaze has been brought under control, and firefighting operations are underway. A hospital staffer who was in the bathroom died from suffocation.
