CM Adityanath orders creation of more posts, says modernisation to meet the challenges of rapid population growth, industrialisation, and urbanisation

To handle chemical, biological, and radiological emergencies, as well as incidents in “super” high-rise buildings, specialised units will be set up across all the regions of Uttar Pradesh.

Announcing the formation of such units as part of the overhaul of the state fire department, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday said small fire stations, equipped with fire tenders, will be established every 100 kilometres along the expressways in the state to ensure immediate rescue and relief operations within the “golden hour” of an accident.
