What Delhi Fire Services Chief Said Over ‘Cash Discovery’ at Delhi High Court Judge’s Residence

Delhi Fire Services Chief Atul Garg said Friday that no cash was found during the firefighting operation at the residence of Delhi High Court Justice Yashwant Varma. Garg told PTI that the fire control room received a call about the blaze at Varma’s Lutyens Delhi residence at 11:35 PM on March 14. Two fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the scene, arriving at 11:43 PM. The fire, which was located in a storeroom filled with stationery and domestic items, was brought under control within 15 minutes. There were no casualties. Read more
