A major fire broke out in the B1 AC coach of the Thiruvananthapuram Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express (12431) early Sunday (May 17) morning near Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh. The incident reportedly took place around 5:30 am between the Luni Richha and Vikramgarh Alot stations, near Alot railway station, under the Kota Rail Division. According to initial information, flames were spotted in the B1 coach while the train was moving on the Delhi-Mumbai railway route. The train guard immediately alerted the loco pilot after noticing the fire, following which the train was brought to a halt. Railway Protection Force personnel and railway staff quickly launched an evacuation operation and safely deboarded all passengers from the affected coach.
