New Delhi: A fire broke out at a factory in Sector 2, DSIDC Bawana, Delhi. Reportedly, a total of 17 fire tenders rushed to the site to douse the flames. According to news agency ANI, the building collapsed due to a series of blasts. So far, no injuries have been reported. Fire in Guru Gobind Singh College of CommerceIn a separate incident, a fire broke out in the library of Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce in northwest Delhi’s Pitampura on Thursday morning, leaving several classrooms charred. According to the Delhi Fire Services (DFS), the blaze started at around 8:55 am and quickly spread across the first, second and third floors of the four-storey library building. Eleven fire tenders were rushed to the scene and the fire was brought under control by 9:40 am. “No injuries were reported,” a DFS official confirmed. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, and investigations are underway. Uttam Nagar FireEarlier, a major fire incident occurred at BM Gupta Hospital in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar on Tuesday evening. The blaze, which broke out around 8:00 pm, started in the nurses’ hostel on the second floor, affecting accommodation meant for six staff members. It later spread to parts of the third floor that stored medical records. The hospital building comprises a chemist shop on the ground floor, offices and an OPD on the first floor, and the upper floors used for accommodation and storage. 11 fire tenders were deployed from various stations. The fire was brought under control after nearly 90 minutes, with all 15–20 patients and around 20 staff members safely evacuated. Assistant Divisional Officer (ADO) R.K. Yadav from Janakpuri stated, “On receiving the information, our vehicles reached here from different stations. The fire has been brought under control.
