Massive Fire Breaks Out At Steel Plant In Visakhapatnam | VISUALS

Andhra Pradesh Fire News: A massive fire broke out at a steel plant in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday, triggering panic in the area. Thick plumes of smoke were seen rising from the site, as captured in a widely circulated video. Firefighting teams rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. More details are awaited. In another incident, a total of 17 people died after a massive fire broke out in a building on Gulzar Houz Road near the Charminar in Hyderabad’s old city. More than ten firefighters were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The massive blaze claimed lives of six people including three women and two children, who succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment. The incident caused panic in the densely populated area. Around 16 people were rescued and immediately shifted to various hospitals. Many victims suffered from severe suffocation and burn injuries. According to a Fire department official, they received a call at around 6.30 am and rushed to the spot. Several people were found unconscious and shifted to various hospitals. After visiting the site, Union Minister G Kishan Reddy told media: ”Police informed that eight people are dead in the fire accident. But the figure has to be confirmed by them only.” Read more
