Fire erupts in oil tanker on Ambala-Chandigarh Highway | Chandigarh News – The Indian Express

A major fire broke out late evening on Monday near the village of Alamgir, close to Lalru, Mohali on the Ambala-Chandigarh National Highway. The blaze erupted around 8 pm in an oil tanker that was parked near a roadside eatery, leading to extensive damage to nearby vehicles.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky, creating panic in the area. The news of the fire spread rapidly, prompting an immediate response from fire brigades from Dera Bassi, Ambala, Dappar, Naraingarh, and other nearby towns.
