Noida Aranya Society Sector 119 Fire:
A family escaped unhurt after a fire, triggered by a suspected air-conditioner blast, broke out in a flat on the 21st floor of a residential building in Noida’s Sector 119 Monday morning, prompting the deployment of six fire tenders.
“At the time of the incident, the family was asleep but managed to come out safely as soon as they noticed the fire. No one was injured, and the fire was contained within half an hour,” Pradeep Kumar, Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Gautam Buddh Nagar, said.
The senior officer said around 15-20 firefighting personnel entered the flat through the balcony and from inside. “Since the fire was reported to be severe, the police, an ambulance, and six fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot,” he added.
