Short circuit led to the fire, no foul play suspected: Police

A one-year-old toddler was killed, while his four-year-old sister sustained injuries after a fire broke out inside their house in East Delhi’s Rajeev Camp in Jhilmil Colony on Saturday, police said. The fire was allegedly caused by a short circuit.

The police received a call from Guru Teg Bahadur (GTB) Hospital Saturday and were informed that two children were brought to the hospital with burn injuries. Teams were dispatched to the location.
