Ernakulam Express Fire: A fire erupted in two AC coaches of the Tata Nagar–Ernakulam Express near Duvvada early Monday, killing a 70-year-old passenger and triggering panic among travellers. The blaze, reportedly caused by overheating brakes, gutted the B1 and M2 coaches. Fire services battled the flames for hours, rail traffic was disrupted, and passengers were shifted to replacement coaches. A detailed railway inquiry has been ordered.
