NEW DELHI: Two days after a retired IAS officer lost his life when a fire broke out following an AC blast on the ground floor of his three-storey resi.A retired IAS officer tragically died after a fire erupted in his South Delhi residence, suspected to be caused by faulty electrical wiring igniting an AC blast. While authorities registered a negligence case, allegations of delayed firefighter response and access issues emerged. Efforts to control the blaze were hampered by a room mesh and parked cars.
