Ceasefire Breached In Hours: India Shoots Down Pakistani Drone Wave Near Jammu

Three-and-a-half hours after India and Pakistan reached an understanding on a ceasefire, Pakistani drones were spotted in a number of border cities, including Jammu and Srinagar. Jammu air defence system has been activated, sources said. Armed forces have been instructed to deal strongly with any instances of violations by Pakistan, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri said in a late-night briefing. As per reports, drones were also sighted at Naliya Air Force Station in Gujarat. Drone activity was reported across the Kashmir Valley and subsequently destroyed by an anti-drone system over Baramulla town in north Kashmir around 8.20 pm. Another drone was reportedly brought down at Anantnag high ground, also in close proximity to an Army installation, reported news agency PTI. Read more
