A massive fire has been reported behind the Dollar Tree in North Cheyenne, prompting an emergency response from Cheyenne Fire Rescue. According to the Cheyenne Police Department, crews are currently responding to a structure fire at 2025 East Carlson Street, located behind the Walmart Supercenter. The blaze reportedly involves a multi-story apartment complex under construction north of Dell Range Boulevard. It was not immediately clear whether the fire was confined to the building under construction west of Converse Avenue or if nearby structures were also threatened. Authorities said road closures are in effect as firefighters work to contain the blaze. Converse Avenue has been shut down between Dell Range Boulevard and Storey Boulevard, and residents are being urged to avoid the area while emergency crews remain on scene.
