A fire broke out at the Thane Municipal Corporation Headquarters in Maharashtra on Monday morning (June 8). The blaze erupted on the fourth floor of the office around 08:07 AM. The civic body’s Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) received a call about a fire in the City Development Department, the officials said. According to the preliminary probe, a UPS unit, a pile of papers, and a fan caught fire. The blaze was not massive, and no casualties have been reported, according to the officials. Read more
