A bushfire erupted just north of Joint Base Cape Cod in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Smoke from the fire was visible from nearby regions, including New Bedford. As per initial reports, the authorities at Cape Cod were carrying out a controlled burn, which got out of hand. Firefighters are working to control the blaze. Radar showed smoke appearing near the Joint Base Cape Cod as the fire continued to burn. The exact location of the fire was Camp Edwards, which is a part of the Joint Base Cape Cod.
