Pacific Fire Irvine and Carbon Fire Brea: Twin Wildfires Spark Response in Orange County

Fire crews are responding to two separate wildfires that have broken out in Orange County, prompting a full emergency response. The first blaze, named the Pacific Fire, is burning near the junction of the 405 and 133 freeways in Irvine. It is estimated to be around half an acre in size and is spreading at a moderate rate through light, dry vegetation. ,The Orange County Fire Authority said crews were deployed to contain the fire. ,A second fire, known as the Carbon Fire, has also ignited in Brea. Authorities said it is burning uphill in light, fast-burning fuels, conditions that can accelerate its spread. ,Firefighters are working to contain both incidents.
