NEW DELHI: An 80-year-old retired IAS officer died, while his son suffered injuries after a fire broke out at a house in south Delhi’s Hauz Khas area,.A devastating fire in South Delhi’s Hauz Khas claimed the life of an 80-year-old retired IAS officer, Dhanender Kumar, who succumbed to smoke inhalation. His son also sustained injuries but is recovering. The blaze, possibly ignited by an AC unit malfunction, occurred late Wednesday night. Authorities are investigating the exact cause. Read more
