3 women rescued after fire breaks out at shops in Pimpri | Pune News – The Indian Express

The PCMC fire brigade control room received a call around 4.50 pm regarding fire at the shops on the ground floor of a three-storeyed building at Zero boys chowk in Nehru Nagar.

Three women were rescued to safety by the Pimpri Chinchwad fire brigade after a fire broke out at shops and a mattress manufacturing unit at the Zero Boys chowk in Nehru Nagar, Pimpri on Wednesday evening.

“The rescued women included Ashwini Bakhade (24) and Chetna Savarkar (26) and a senior citizen. They were taken to a hospital for treatment where their condition was reported to be stable,” said Rushikant Chipade of the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) fire brigade.
