The fire broke out in the B-block of Aatrey Orchid society. No casualty was reported in the case.

Thirty one people were rescued by firefighters after six flats at a housing society located near the Ahmedabad airport went up in flames on Tuesday.

Of these, while 27 were rescued using the aerial ladder platform, four jumped off the fifth floor to land on inflated cushions and mattresses laid out by the firefighters.
