Noida: A fire broke out at a cosmetics manufacturing company in Noida’s Ecotech-3 area on Friday evening, burning goods worth lakhs of rupees to ashes. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, officials said. Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey said the blaze at Indibo Private Limited was triggered by a short circuit. “Fifteen fire tenders were pressed into service, and they brought the blaze under control in around three hours,” Choubey stated. Though the fire was contained, significant losses were reported. “Goods worth lakhs of rupees have been burnt in the fire,” he added. This incident comes just two days after a massive fire broke out near Sector 128 along the Greater Noida Expressway, spreading panic among residents as thick plumes of smoke darkened the skies. The blaze originated at a garbage dump and rapidly spread to nearby forested areas, creating visibility issues on the roads. Emergency teams, including fire brigades and police, were immediately dispatched to the site. Videos circulating on social media captured the intensity of the situation, with towering flames visible from afar.
