New Delhi: A fire broke out at a shop in Gaffar Market, in Delhi’s Karol Bagh area, on Monday afternoon. The Fire Department received a call about the incident around 12:04 pm. Four fire tenders were immediately sent to the spot to bring the flames under control. No casualties have been reported so far. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. In a separate news, a fire broke out at the Mother and Child Block of Delhi-AIIMS. The incident was swiftly brought under control, and no casualties were reported. Firefighters and hospital staff acted promptly to prevent the blaze from spreading to other areas of the facility. Reportedly, the DFS officer said a call regarding the fire was received at 5.15 pm. In a separate news, a transformer located near the Trauma Centre of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi, caught fire, a Delhi Fire Services (DFS) official said.
