Fire breaks out in Kurla scrap market; one injured | Mumbai News – The Indian Express

The Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) deployed four engines, six jumbo tankers and two fire tankers.

A fire broke out in Kurla West scrap market on Saturday that spread to nearly eleven shops in the area. While no casualties were reported, a 25-year-old fireman was injured during the course of operations.

The fireman was identified as Suraj Tanaki Nakashe (25) and was taken to Kurla’s Bhabha hospital after sustaining injuries to his left knee.
