Fire breaks out in Nature Park, reduces trees to ashes | Chandigarh News – The Indian Express

R S Baidwan, general secretary of the Environment Protection Society, demanded immediate action, including proper leaf disposal systems, to prevent future disasters and safeguard air quality.

A sudden fire erupted in a pile of dried leaves in Mohali’s Nature Park in Sector 62 which engulfed several trees. Multiple fire brigade vehicles rushed to the scene to contain the flames.

The fire started around 3 pm and was contained about 6 pm.
