Four firefighters suffer massive burns in LPG cylinder blast in Gandhinagar | Ahmedabad News – The Indian Express

Three of the men suffered 25-50% burns while one had a hand injury; they were admitted to the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital.

“The moment they attempted to enter the burning structure, the gas cylinder exploded,” said an officer, describing a fire call that led to four personnel of the Gandhinagar Fire and Emergency Services (GFES) suffering severe burn injuries on the intervening night of Friday and Saturday.

The Gandhinagar Fire control received the call about a blaze in Sector 4A of the capital city. The fire, they were told, was in a garden.
