Ghaziabad: A fire engulfed a house in Ghaziabad’s Kanchan Park on Sunday morning, killing a 32-year-old woman and three young children, while two others sustained injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Delhi’s Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital. The blaze, suspected to have originated from a small in-house factory for stitching tracksuits on the second floor, quickly spread to other parts of the building, officials said. The fire broke out around 7:06 am, prompting a distress call to the fire department. “When we reached the scene, access to the house was blocked. Our teams had to enter through adjacent buildings to combat the flames,” said Rahul Pal, Chief Fire Officer. Three fire tenders were deployed to douse the fire, which had engulfed the first, second, and third floors of the house.
