Mumbai Pedder Road Fire News: The Mumbai traffic police have announced road diversions after the fire erupted at Libas Riyaz Gangji near the Jaslok Hospital on Pedder Road.

Mumbai Libas Showroom Fire: A fire broke out at a garment store inside a five-storey building at Pedder Road in Mumbai early Monday, sending plumes of smoke into the neighbourhood. While no injuries have been reported so far, the Mumbai traffic police announced road diversions, owing to the traffic along the busy route.

According to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, the fire was contained at 8.10 am after it was reported in the early hours of Monday at the building housing Libas Riyaz Gangji, a clothing store, near the Jaslok Hospital at Pedder Road’s Nana Chowk. Preliminary information furnished by BMC and the Mumbai traffic police shows the blaze broke out at the clothing store, which is situated on the ground floor of the building.
