Noida: A massive fire broke out near Sector 128 in Noida on Thursday evening, causing panic among residents as thick plumes of smoke filled the sky. The blaze began at a garbage dump near the Greater Noida Expressway and quickly spread to nearby forested areas. Emergency services, including fire brigades and police, were immediately dispatched to the site. Videos shared on social media captured the intensity of the blaze, with flames visible from a distance and smoke lowering visibility on roads. Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar confirmed that the fire was successfully brought under control with the efforts of fire-fighting teams. Read more
