8 killed in fireworks factory blast in Andhra Pradesh | Hyderabad News – The Indian Express

The fireworks manufacturing unit is located in Kailasapuram village of Kotauratla and according to police, the blast which caused a massive fire, occurred when chemicals were being mixed to prepare firecrackers.

Eight workers — including two women — of a fireworks factory died and several were seriously injured after an explosion at a fireworks factory in Anakapalle district of Andhra Pradesh Sunday afternoon, Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha has said.
