The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation on Tuesday announced that all hotels, restaurants, pubs and bars will be inspected by the Mumbai Fire Brigade (MFB) authorities as part of a special fire safety drive that will be held between December 22 and 28. In a statement on Tuesday, the BMC authorities said that action will be taken against establishment owners violating safety norms under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Safety Act.
