Major fire on terrace of commercial complex in Pune’s Sadashiv Peth; no casualties | Pune News – The Indian Express

Senior Inspector Pradeep Kasbe, in-charge of the Vishrambag police station said, "We have registered a fire incident and a probe has been launched. We have sought reports from the Fire Brigade and Electrical Inspectorate about the fire incident. Based on their report further course of action will be decided."

fire erupted on Tuesday noon in a building that houses a clothing and accessories retail store on the arterial Laxmi Road in Sadashiv Peth. The fire that started on the makeshift storage on the terrace of the building also spread to the adjacent commercial building before being brought under control. No casualties were reported in the incident and the police have launched a probe into the causes of the fire.

At 11.55 am, a call was received at the fire brigade control room from local citizens about a massive fire at Ramesh Dyeing building in Sadashiv Peth near Shaniwar. Considering the seriousness of the incident, a total of ten fire tenders were pressed into action, additional water tankers and skylift was also deployed.
