The Bengal government has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh each for the kin of the four dead in the blast.
A day after a massive blast ripped through a firecracker factory killing four people in West Bengal’s Kalyani, the Fire Brigade Saturday stated that the factory lacked proper certification to produce firecrackers.
On Friday, the local civic body had claimed that the unit had permission to produce firecrackers.
